This afternoon, country icon George Strait announced a special benefit dinner and concert in Boerne, Texas, Strait To The Heart, which will take place on Sunday, July 27th at Estancia at Thunder Valley indoor arena. He has put it together alongside businessman and Vaqueros del Mar partner of 15-years, Tom Cusick as a way to help devastated families who lost everything in tragic flash flooding on July 4th in Kerr county.
In the wake of the catastrophic flooding that has impacted so many lives across Texas’ Hill Country, as entire communities have been devastated, and families are mourning the loss of their children and loved ones. The death toll currently sits at 120, and 173 people remain missing at the time of this publishing. Over two dozen of those deaths are campers and counselors from the girls’ camp, Camp Mystic, as well as Camp Mystic longtime owner and director Dick Eastland, gave his life while trying to save campers…
