According to the National Weather Service, a Flood Watch remains in effect for 17 counties, including Travis, Bexar, Hays, Comal, and Williamson, as rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches are common, with isolated spots seeing as much as 9 to 12 inches. Rapid runoff is expected, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas, as saturated ground increases the risk of creeks and rivers overflowing.
