BEXAR COUNTY, TX – What began as deputies clearing a 911 hang-up call on a summer afternoon in Bexar County quickly escalated into the recovery of a stolen vehicle and the arrest of a wanted man.
A license plate reader alerted deputies to a stolen vehicle in the vicinity, which had been reported taken a few days prior. Deputies successfully tracked the vehicle to a residence in the 10000 block of Expedition Creek in far northwest Bexar County. The homeowner informed deputies that the vehicle had appeared that morning and suggested a man staying in his upstairs bedroom might have information about its origin.
