SAN ANTONIO – A man died Wednesday morning after he was pulled from Woodlawn Lake Park.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the park around 9 a.m. following reports that a man had jumped into the lake and appeared to be in distress. Witnesses told dispatchers the man was struggling to stay afloat before becoming motionless in the water.
Several bystanders entered the lake and managed to pull the man to shore, where they began administering CPR. Emergency medical services and officers arrived shortly thereafter and continued life-saving efforts…
