A jury trial date officially has been for the family accused of multiple roles in the death and subsequent cover up of a pair of young parents to be in San Antonio. The move comes a year and a half after the couple was killed and months after an earlier trial date was mysteriously cancelled without explanation.
According to Bexar County court records, Christopher Preciado and his parents are set to face a jury on November 3. Preciado is faced with three felony charges, including capital murder of multiple persons, abuse of a corpse and evidence tampering. After a failed attempt at a bond reduction, Preciado has remained in the Bexar County Jail since his initial arrest on January 3, 2024.
He’s accused of killing expecting mother, Savanah Soto, and the child’s father, Matthew Guerra, just days before Christmas in 2023.
