A jail inmate who bit a Bexar County detention officer while they were transferring jail units has been sentenced to prison.
John Henry Castillo, 42, was sentenced to 30 years in prison Monday by Senior District Judge Sid Harle, who presided over the sentence in the 290th District Court.
