Local mother sentenced to 20 years for role in toddler’s disappearance and death

SAN ANTONIO – A local mother who has been at the center of a years-long investigation into the disappearance of her young son has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty.

Court records show that D’Lanny Reaneille Chairez entered a guilty plea for injury to a child by omission on Tuesday and was sentenced to 20 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
