KSAT has tapped a new leader to helm its San Antonio newsroom. Jace Larson will now lead the ABC-affiliate as the station’s new News Director. He’s no stranger to Texas — having previously worked in Houston as an investigative reporter for NBC affiliate KPRC, where he championed community change, according to a news release. With two decades of experience in both reporting and management, Larson has also held key leadership roles at Scripps News, including Director of Newsgathering and Director of National Content.
“I’m excited to join such a powerful team of journalists who make it their mission to tell strong stories each day,” Larson said. “I am grateful to be joining a station with a deep commitment to fairly and accurately covering the communities of San Antonio.”
