13-year-old boy accused in fatal shooting of his brother released to grandmother’s custody

SAN ANTONIO – A 13-year-old boy charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of of his 8-year-old brother has been released into his grandmother’s custody under strict conditions, a judge ruled on Tuesday.

The deadly shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. on July 25 at a home near the intersection of Bob Billa Street and Wales Avenue.
