San Antonio, TX – A Texas man has been arrested for murder after allegedly shooting a former coworker over a $31,000 debt and then boasting about the killing on TikTok, authorities say. 23-year-old Naqibullah Habibzoi of Houston is accused of fatally shooting Awal Noor Kiftan outside his Northwest Side apartment on May 31.
TikTok Posts Helped Police Identify Suspect
According to the San Antonio Express-News, Habibzoi allegedly used his TikTok account, @khosti2002, to brag about the murder following the shooting. Police said posts included messages such as,
“If you do something bad to us, something bad will happen to you,” and, “We never move on without taking our revenge.”
Investigators confirmed his account was still active as of Sunday afternoon, with multiple posts later deleted, including one featuring a photo of Kiftan.
Details of the Shooting
Habibzoi reportedly traveled from Houston to San Antonio on the day of the killing. Officers responded to Kiftan’s apartment around 11 p.m. and found him dead outside. Police say a phone call lured Kiftan outside, where Habibzoi allegedly shot him multiple times…
