Suspects wanted in South Side ATM heist may be connected to similar robbery, police say

SAN ANTONIO — Multiple robbery suspects are on the run after hitting up an ATM at a South Side shopping center on Wednesday, an incident police believe may be connected to a similar robbery earlier that same day.

Officers were called around 10:20 a.m. to a Wells Fargo ATM located near Pleasanton Road and Southwest Military Drive.

Police say some employees were in the process of servicing the ATM machine when two men wearing dark colored clothing pulled up behind them in a dark Jeep Cherokee and stole multiple cash boxes. The suspect threatened employees and pushed one of them aside, telling them “don’t try anything or you’re gonna get hurt,” police said…
