Influencer faces felony charge for bomb threat at San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention

SAN ANTONIO – A 25-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after police said she threatened to plant a bomb at the San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention, held last weekend at the Henry B. González Convention Center.

San Antonio Police charged Kendra Noel Manning, 25, a social media influencer, with making a terroristic threat to impair public service, a third-degree felony.

The arrest report states that Manning replied to an Instagram story posted by another booth renter, writing “planting a bomb in their booth today” in reference to her dislike of the gaming nutrition company Gamer Supps…
