Tacos on the Street opens Thursday in San Antonio — the Puerto Vallarta-born company’s first U.S. location and its first expansion outside Mexico.
Dig in: The Stone Oak restaurant will serve the same tacos, tostadas and quesadillas — filled with thinly shaved grilled beef — that the business was founded on 32 years ago.
- The tortillas are made from a custom blend of nixtamal masa and finely ground corn flour, with a finishing beef glaze that gives the edges a golden crisp.
- The menu also features margaritas, a signature Jamaica mezcalita and sundaes made with New York City’s cult-favorite Van Leeuwen Ice Cream.
