A driver fled the scene after her vehicle struck and killed a woman in a gas station parking lot this week on the Northwest Side, police said, and she was arrested Thursday.

Theresa McCormick, 52, drove into a 75-year-old pedestrian about 12:40 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Babcock Road, according to the San Antonio Police Department. McCormick has been charged with a collision involving the death of Cynthia Lamar Anthony. She is in the Bexar County jail; a judge set bail at $150,000, court records show.
McCormick turned a corner in the parking lot and struck a pedestrian, later identified as Anthony, running the victim over completely, police said.
