SAN ANTONIO — Three individuals face felony mail theft charges after an off-duty U.S. Postal Service employee witnessed a man breaking into multiple mailboxes early Tuesday morning.
The postal worker observed the suspect, dressed in a white shirt, using a key to access cluster mailboxes and remove mail, then promptly reported the incident to police with a description of the suspect’s vehicle.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Hedwig Police Department, stopped a Chevrolet Silverado matching the description provided by the witness. Inside the vehicle, deputies discovered a large trash bag filled with stolen mail, a firearm, and drug paraphernalia…
