Family seeks to return bodies of children found in Alamo Ranch to South Carolina

The family of two children who allegedly died in a hot car over the weekend is seeking to bring their bodies back to South Carolina as authorities continue to investigate what led to their deaths.

Sevani Stevenson, 6, and Miyani Islar, 3, were reportedly found dead by their mother in a vehicle on Saturday, allegedly the result of having been left in a hot car, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said.

But Javier Salazar said there are “inconsistencies” in the stories that the children’s mother, Tiona Lasaisha Islar, told deputies. She said she had last seen the children alive at 10 a.m. before she went to sleep, until she discovered them both dead at 3 p.m. that same day…
