Police arrest man accused of more than $25k in damage to Northeast Side charter school

A San Antonio man is behind bars after he allegedly burglarized a Northeast Side charter school and caused more than $25,000 in damage.

Police arrested 32-year-old Estevan Hernandez Wednesday on warrants accusing him of burglary of a building and criminal mischief at a school causing damage more than $750 and less than $30,000, jail records show.

He is accused of damaging the entrance of BASIS San Antonio Northeast on Sept. 9, according to an affidavit supporting his arrest and a statement from the school…
