Fugitive on TX Most Wanted List Arrested After Showing Up to Work

A featured fugitive from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrant list has recently been captured. The Honduran native was arrested after showing up to work one morning without knowing that police were waiting for him.

33-year-old Robert Bustrillo-Vasquiez has been wanted out of Bexar County since August, 2025, for aggravated kidnapping causing bodily injury-sexual abuse, aggravated sexual assault and smuggling of persons, according to the DPS release.

Bustrillo-Vasquiez also has a history of illegal reentry, having been deported from the U.S. first in 2010, and the most recent instance being in 2018 for a total of four times . He was also arrested multiple times in 2013 and 2014 for assault by the Austin Police Department.
