SAN ANTONIO — A road rage incident escalated into a shooting Wednesday night on the city’s northwest side, police say.
The incident started along USAA Boulevard near Fredericksburg Road around 7:45 p.m. The vehicles involved ended up along Gus Eckhert Road and Cinnamon Hill in the Medical Center.
A 20-year-old man told police he was driving when a tan or gold Chevy sedan cut him off and brake-checked him. A short time later, the two drivers ended up next to each other and that is when a shot was fired. The man was hit in the thigh area, but police say the driver who shot him took off…
