According to local reports, including News 4 San Antonio, the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel has placed a concrete wall in front of the entrance of its property. This is part of ongoing measures to strengthen the property’s security.
Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Beefs Up Security
On September 27, a mass shooting left two people dead and several others in critical condition. Apart from blocking the entrance where the shooting took place, the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas has enacted there have been other measures adopted by the tribal nation.
Among those are increased armed security staffers, as well as screening of suspicious vehicles, as well as mobile security stations that keep shifting in order to ensure that they cover the grounds efficiently and act as a deterrent and early response force.
