A veteran has been sentenced to nearly two decades in prison after a drunken driving crash that killed a woman and a 5-year-old last year.
Marlon Daniels, 57, pleaded guilty to one count of intoxication manslaughter and one count of manslaughter as part of a plea deal Tuesday, the day his jury trial was scheduled to begin in the 187th District Court.
