Did you wake up Sunday morning and almost grab the tiger culcha? If you had the thought of whipping out the giant pot and dropping your caldo ingredients first thing, you may have made a wise decision for the day.
A cold front has officially landed in the San Antonio-area on Sunday, October 19, and the National Weather Service has laid out how long the lower temperatures will stay while also alerting the public of possible fire danger. The NWS said a Rangeland Fire Danger Statement is in effect from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday for the Hill Country, I-35 corridor and the Coastal Plains. “Dry air, breezy north winds, and dry fuels will create near critical fire weather conditions and an increased risk for fire spread,” the NWS said.
