Kids face curfew at new San Antonio’s wildest bar after first-week damage

Children aren’t banned at San Antonio’s newest bar, but they do have a curfew. Elsewhere Too, a new attraction with a Ferris wheel, has changed its policy regarding children after suffering damage in its first week open.

Elsewhere Too, a second location from the Elsewhere brand known for its whimsical beer and wine garden in River North, opened on Saturday, October 4, at 4513 N. Loop 1604, near Lockhill Selma Road. The bar welcomed children and families until 9 p.m. But, Elsewhere Too has changed the time to 8 p.m., according to a Facebook post on Monday, October 20.

“When the clock hits 8, the lights glow brighter, the beats get louder, and the vibe turns from playground to party,” Elsewhere Too wrote in its post. “We love our families and our late-night legends — now everyone gets their time to shine.”

During the first week, the co-owner of Elsewhere, Terrin Fuhrmann, told MySA the staff saw children tossing items like shoes from the Ferris wheel, damaging plants and flower beds and throwing rocks…
