According to an update from KSAT, the local news station was removed from the platform at approximately 10:59 p.m. Thursday due to an expired “carriage deal” between two industry media giants — Disney and Google.
Google owns YouTube TV, while Disney is the parent company of both ABC and ESPN. As an ABC affiliate, KSAT “in no way has input on this decision,” the station wrote in an earlier Thursday update.
