San Antonio man charged in fatal June DWI wreck dies by suicide, victim’s family says

SAN ANTONIO — A 46-year-old man who had been criminally charged after allegedly causing a June wreck that killed a young mother took his own life, according to the woman’s family, who cited their attorney.

The medical examiner’s office says Colin Matthew McGuane died on Oct. 20. Court records indicate McGuane was indicted Aug. 27 on multiple charges related to the crash, which happened the night of June 3 in far west San Antonio.
