Those eager to see where former San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg’s political ambitions take him next won’t have to wait much longer.
In a social media message shared Wednesday evening and funded by the Team Ron PAC, Nirenberg trumpeted a “big announcement” he plans to make Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Backyard on Broadway, 2411 Broadway.
The virtual flyer makes no mention of a political campaign, only noting that there will be “free food & drinks” along with “live music” from the band Finding Friday. However, given rumblings about Nirenberg’s intention to run for office again, it’s probably a safe bet he hasn’t suddenly jumped into promoting live music shows…
