Teen On Mini Bike Hit By Car In San Antonio; Driver Left, Then Returned: Cops

A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized with injuries described as non-life-threatening after a car hit him while he was riding a motorized mini-bike near Crooked Trail and Lake Vista in north San Antonio on Friday night, police said. The driver stopped, left, then came back before officers arrived.

As reported by Fox San Antonio, the San Antonio Police Department said the crash happened around 8:44 p.m. near Crooked Trail and Lake Vista. Officers told reporters the driver initially checked on the teen before driving away; the driver returned while police were responding and was detained.
