Paper Tiger at center of lawsuit after alleged stabbing attack

It’s been almost exactly 10 months since a San Antonio man was rushed to the hospital with multiple stab wounds reportedly sustained while at a concert at Paper Tiger on San Antonio’s St. Mary’s Strip. Now, he’s taking his alleged assaulter and the popular music hotspot to court, asking for a payout for his pain and suffering.

Shortly after 10 p.m. on December 27, police were called to Paper Tiger, located at 2410 N. St. Mary’s St., and found a man laying outside the venue. He had suffered multiple stab wounds, police told MySA, and several witnesses identified the alleged stabber as John Guerrero, 36.

“Based on information gathered, the victim and suspect were inside the location and began having a physical altercation. During the altercation, the suspect pulled out a knife and assaulted the victim,” a San Antonio Police Department spokesperson confirmed through an incident report…
