BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A former Bexar County sheriff’s deputy, who was fired after bringing an inmate Whataburger at the county jail, has had his case dismissed, according to court records.
Miguel Angel Rodriguez, 27, was arrested on Jan. 10 for accepting a Cash App payment from an inmate’s relative to buy Whataburger for both himself and the inmate, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said earlier this year.
