SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Four men are behind bars after robbing $30,000 from a man who was servicing an ATM, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD). The suspects, ranging in age from 17 to 24, were tracked down and arrested shortly after the heist, with officers managing to recover every dollar of the stolen cash.
Robbery Occurred During ATM Service Job
Authorities say the incident unfolded earlier this week when an ATM service technician was replenishing an automated teller machine at a local business. During the process, four suspects approached the victim and forcibly took $30,000 in cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
The technician immediately contacted police, providing detailed descriptions of the suspects and their getaway vehicle.
“This was a bold and coordinated robbery targeting a man who was just doing his job,” one SAPD investigator said. “Fortunately, the suspects didn’t get far.”
