More than 150 detained in suspected Tren de Aragua operation

SAN ANTONIO – A loud federal raid over early Sunday morning shut down a busy intersection on the North Side — with sources telling us more than 150 people were detained for deportation.

According to the FBI’s San Antonio office, federal agents carried out a court-authorized operation around 3 a.m. near the intersection of San Pedro Avenue and Basse Road.

The FBI and multiple law-enforcement agencies moved in on a food truck park and car lot. It has a club in the back, and law-enforcement sources say they believe it was being used by members of the Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan gang…
