Prince Hall Masonic Family Helps Feed San Antonio’s Homeless

District Council 19 Serves More Than 150 People at Annual Thanksgiving Outreach

(By: Bro. Burrell Parmer, District Council 19)– Matthew 25:35 (NIV), “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

District Council 19 held its Thanksgiving Community Outreach Program for the Homeless which provided a full-course Thanksgiving meal to those less fortunate near the county jail downtown.

All Masonic bodies within the district supported the program which fed more than 150 individuals.

Feeding the homeless provides opportunities for volunteers and community members to interact with those who are often marginalized. These acts of kindness help break down social barriers, reduce stigma, and foster a greater sense of empathy and understanding within the community…
