Man arrested after alleged assault on Uber driver and police officer on North Side

SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested on Thanksgiving Day after authorities say he assaulted a police officer and an Uber driver on the North Side.

Officers responded to a disturbance call around 2:25 p.m. on Northwest Loop 410 near Zangs Road.

Police said a man got into an argument with his uber driver and hit him with a thermos. When officers arrived, he then grabbed an officer and twisted her skin. The suspect was tased in the process…
