The crash involved a police cruiser and a civilian vehicle, resulting in injuries to two officers who were transported to the hospital. Both vehicles were pushed off the roadway following the impact.
Police reported that the collision occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of W. Hutchins Place and Commercial Avenue. Officers were responding code to an assault-in-progress call in the 900 block of W. Formosa Boulevard when the crash took place.
