SAPD: Thanksgiving rider gets sick in Uber, attacks driver for booting him, then attacks police

A man was arrested on Thanksgiving, accused of physically assaulting his Uber driver after being asked to get out of the vehicle, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The 31-year-old man was taking an Uber ride around 2:30 p.m. Thursday on the Northwest Side when he “became sick” inside the car, according to a preliminary police report. The driver canceled the ride and asked the man to get out, but he refused and allegedly began physically assaulting the driver.
