San Antonio Teen Charged with Manslaughter in Fatal Stolen Camaro Crash Four Suspects Linked to Incident

San Antonio police have arrested 19-year-old Ethan Michael Gonzales in connection with a July crash involving a stolen Camaro that killed five people and injured 15 others. The bus struck a guardrail and was then struck by the 18-wheeler, causing it to roll and eject several passengers, according to KENS 5.

Authorities reported that four individuals, including Gonzales, fled the scene after the crash. SAPD said DNA evidence and cell phone records placed Gonzales at the site. Three other suspects—Matthew Andres Espinoza, Eric Rene Perez, and John Michael Sanchez—have been arrested on charges not directly related to the crash but connected to the stolen Camaro and other vehicle burglaries.
