Conflicting stories emerge in altercation leading to juvenile’s arm injury

SAN ANTONIO – A confusing series of events at a West Side apartment complex left a juvenile with a cut on his arm and a nearby vehicle with smashed windows, prompting an ongoing investigation.

The incident happened on Friday around 9:35 a.m. near Jean Walk and S Laredo Street, where the boy was found with a non-life-threatening injury to his upper arm.

The 13-year-old told responders he had been chased by another boy who also lives in the complex, someone he’s had past problems with. He said the other boy, an 18-year-old, was holding a metal object and struck him before taking off in a vehicle…
