Woman hospitalized after accidentally shooting herself in leg on Southeast Side, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – A 44-year-old woman was hospitalized after accidentally shooting herself in the hip early Tuesday, according to San Antonio police.

The shooting happened just before 2:00 a.m. in the 3900 block of East Southcross Boulevard, not far from Pecan Grove Drive.

The woman initially told police someone in a passing vehicle shot her; however, after being interviewed, the woman admitted the shooting was accidental, an SAPD preliminary report said…
