Ex-SAPD officer accused of two-year stalking campaign against his child’s mother, affidavit says

A former San Antonio police officer is accused of stalking his former significant other for nearly two years in a case that investigators say escalated to physical surveillance, threats, harassment, and dozens of police calls, according to an arrest affidavit filed by the San Antonio Police Department.

The victim, a 42-year-old woman, told police she has lived in fear as Humberto Zúñiga Jr., 47 — her former partner and co-parent of their 7-year-old child. He allegedly carried out a “continuous and escalating course of prohibited conduct” beginning in March 2024 and continuing through Nov. 21, 2025, the affidavit states.
