San Antonio police are searching for a suspect after a 24‑year‑old man says a late‑night online sale meetup at a so‑called “love room” on the Northwest Side turned into a gunpoint robbery just before 1 a.m. Saturday. Investigators say the victim took off running after the suspect pulled out a handgun, as per News4SanAntonio.
According to News4SanAntonio, officers were called to the 5290 block of Roger’s Road for a reported robbery. Police say the victim had arranged to meet a seller to buy items he had first seen online and had already sent an electronic payment when the suspect produced the gun. The department has not released the suspect’s name and says detectives are still actively working the case.
