A late-night card game at a Southeast Side bar turned into something far uglier than hurt feelings over a bad hand, after police say a 35-year-old man was deliberately hit by a car in the parking lot early Sunday.
According to San Antonio police, the trouble started inside a bar on the 2400 block of Southeast Military Drive, where a dispute over a card game escalated into a physical fight shortly after midnight. Staff broke it up and escorted both men outside.
