Cause of death confirmed in shooting of 4-year-old boy on Far Northwest Side

SAN ANTONIO – New details have come to light in the shooting death of a 4-year-old boy that happened Monday at a Far Northwest Side home.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Wednesday that 4-year-old Josiah Cabral died from a gunshot wound to the chest. The manner of death is still pending, meaning officials have not yet determined whether the shooting was accidental or intentional.
