Tejano community reacts to death of Selena’s father Abraham Quintanilla

SAN ANTONIO — Hours after the news broke that Abraham Quintanilla, the father of Tejano queen Selena, had died, the Tejano community began sharing their condolences to honor the legacy of a music legend.

On Saturday, family members announced Quintanilla’s death.

His son A.B., original member of “Selena y Los Dinos,” posted an emotional tribute to his father while saying his heart is “shattered into a million pieces” as his mother now has to “live with the pain of losing her baby and her husband.”…
