Erik Cantu’s ex-girlfriend is asking for his charge to be dropped after the 20-year-old was accused of breaking into her apartment and stealing her iPad.
Cantu was charged with burglary of a habitation Dec. 4. It was the sixth time he had been arrested since he was nearly killed in 2022 after being shot by a San Antonio police officer.
