SAN ANTONIO – Erik Cantu, the then-teenager who was shot by a SAPD officer in a highly controversial case, is now back in custody.
On Monday, the Bexar County 187th Criminal District Court confirmed that Erik Cantu, who had just been released on bond on Dec. 5 for burglary, was taken into custody by law enforcement.
Cantu is currently facing charges for Burglary of a Habitation, and also remains on an eight-year probation sentence, with a suspended 10 year prison sentence…
