San Antonio vying to attract agency in charge of military healthcare

The bureaucratic entity that oversees the U.S. military’s healthcare system may be relocating to the Alamo City, the Express News reports.

The move of the Defense Health Agency from Falls Church, Virginia, could bring as many 3,300 jobs to San Antonio, according to the daily. However, it’s still unclear which parts of the mission may relocate and how many people ultimately might relocate.

The Express-News based its reporting on a letter from members of the city’s congressional delegation to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth along with “recent moves at City Hall.”…
