On December 17, 2025, the San Antonio Police Department’s Holiday Task Force played a key role in safely apprehending 28-year-old Daniel Lopez, who had previously evaded police on three occasions while driving a stolen vehicle.
Lopez was taken into custody without incident following a coordinated operation involving the Holiday Task Force, Castroville Police Department, SAPD Covert Response Unit, and the Street Crimes Unit.
