San Antonio man with cerebral palsy finds strength and confidence through dance

SAN ANTONIO — Living with cerebral palsy, Kevin Gibson never expected dance to change his life. But through the guidance of Jewel of Art Dance Studio director Jackleen Rios, movement became a powerful tool to rebuild his strength, confidence and sense of self.

Gibson, who has had cerebral palsy since birth, said he began losing mobility as he relied more heavily on a walker.
