San Antonio-based Salsita, a popular modern Mexican restaurant, has permanently closed after reopening earlier this year. The restaurant has served its final meal at The Rim location on December 24.

Salsita Drinks & Tacos, at The Rim, offered authentic modern Mexican cuisine and wood-grilled specialties. The restaurant also served handcrafted and fresh cocktails like margaritas and had a casual and trendy atmosphere.
Popular items in the menu included Burrito Pork Belly, Cachete De Rib Eye, Queso Birria Tacos, and Quesabirrias.
