Fierce breezes behind a cold front surging into Texas tonight have triggered a wind advisory from the National Weather Service for San Antonio and the surrounding area.
The wind advisory, which warns of north winds blowing at 20 to 30 mph with gusts as strong as 45 mph, will be in effect from 6 p.m. Sunday to noon Monday, the weather service said.
The affected South Texas counties include Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kerr, Bandera, Kendall and Wilson. The Hill Country counties of Llano, Burnet, Gillespie and Blanco, and parts of Central Texas, including the Austin metro area, are in the advisory area…
